Shenshan Highway jams
I am not impressed by the Shenshan Expressway (深汕高速公路), it is no longer very express. It took me over 9 hours from Guangzhou to Shantou yesterday, where it usually takes 5 1/2. It was crawling all the way down. A tip for our transport managers: MAKE THE RAILWAY DIRECT, AND PUT MORE TRAINS ON. Grr.
I don’t want to hear any excuses about it being nearly New Year. In a few years it’ll be like that every day.

It’s always a problem at this time of the year. You may also be shocked when taking the train, although it might be on time, but I doubt there will be some spaces for breathing.

Er…Actually I fed up with that trip from GZ 2 CY as well…especially in the new year time…
I have heard that there will be a speed line from SZ 2 ST, AND it just takes 2 hrs…if there is one from GZ it would be great!!!
